[ptx] Hugin 20031124 and 20031214 segfault on load of many pictures

Hi,


when I open hugin and add a number of images (34 5MP images, totalling
36MB), hugin segfaults after around 20 loaded images. I tried with both the
20031124 and 20031214 snapshots, both of which I manually compiled on
Debian/unstable.

It can't be a memory issue, not much of the 512mb I have here is used :(

Any idea?
