Hmm, yes you are right. the thing is, when should they be disabled?
another problem is that most of the time, a point is selected. actually
I belive there is no way for a user to deselect a list item.
Even if there was, the fields will still carry the "change selected point"
sematics and not the "set parameters for next point pair that will be
added". And users would fall into the same trap.
I can't think of a nice, intuitive, foolproof solution that incorporates
both sematics. Maybe you have an idea how this should be handled?
If support for control lines is desired, much of this has to be changed
anyway.
