Yes,
it's already in.
I used this sometimes for large multirows and it's great for advanced optimisation (e.g. optimize just middle row while all images contain controlpoints).
I think it is/was a bit buggy.
If I remember correctly it failes, when you deselect the very first image and sometimes it requires to restart hugin to disable this function!?
