[ptx] hugin 06 compile on ubuntu dapper amd64

Hallo,
i try to compile hugin 0.6 on Ubuntu Dapper amd64.

I get the sources from:

http://hugin.sourceforge.net/         # hugin        0.6
http://panotools.sourceforge.net/  # libpano12  2.8.4

libpano12  
.. is in dapper's Repositories (2.7.0.14), but hugin 0.6 needs Vers. >=2.8.1


 > ./configure
 > make
 > sudo checkinstall
# Wrong Parameter [7] architecture, change from 'x86_64' to 'amd64'
 > sudo dpkg -i libpano12_2.8.4-1_amd64.deb

OK

Hugin

 > ./configure
 > make
 > sudo checkinstall 
# Wrong Parameter [7] architecture, change from 'x86_64' to 'amd64'

checkinstall ends with error:

"sudo make install"  same Error.

hugin 0.5 (used before) dont work any more:

frank at frankubuntu:~$ hugin
hugin: error while loading shared libraries: libpano12.so.0: cannot open 
shared object file: No such file or directory


Any Idea how to repair the script to install hugin 0.6?
Any Adress for deb-package for dapper64?
