Autopano-Sift 2.3 by Sebastian Nowozin will run on OS X using the MONO
framework for .NET and Java apps.

It gives wonderful results but isn't the easiest to use for people who
don't know their way around the Terminal, especially when setting up a
batch of panoramas to run overnight.
To make this easier I've written Sift Helper
<http://www.azurevision.co.uk/downloads/utilities/sift-helper
-007.dmg.gz> (1MB) to do almost drag-and-drop batch control point
generation.
Sift Helper does three things:
1) Generates script files for the Terminal for making control points.
The script file can simply be dragged into a Terminal window and the
'Return' key pressed. A series of Hugin project files containing the
control points will be generated.
2) Takes the Hugin project files, extracts the control point data and
adds it to existing PTMac project files.
3) Includes a way to check for seams that do not have any control
points in existing PTMac project files.
Any feedback gratefully recieved,
Ian
