That is just a 360 degree fisheye output image.  PTStitcher can
output this format, but hugin/nona can't.

You can convert an equirectangular panorama using the gimp plugin:

  Filters -> Panorama Tools -> Remap

Then use these settings:

  From: PSphere
  To: Fisheye vert.
  HFoV: 360
  VFoV: 180
