A couple of other things that could be added to nona that are not in 
PTStitcher:

- Radial luminance correction.  There was a very interesting
  suggestion to the panotools list for this:

  ..basically, if you have two overlappiing images with identical
  radial brightness falloff, then it should be possible to calculate
  the falloff curve precisely just by looking at the differences
  between the two images.

- Chromatic abberation correction.  Nona could become capable of
  remapping each RGB channel seperately.
  
  There ought to be a way of determining this automatically just by
  looking at a photo.
