xrc is supported on all wxwindows platforms (according to
http://www.wxwindows.org/supported.htm)
But it is also possible to compile the .xrc files into the application,
if one does not want to distribute them as separate files in a
release version.

Obviously I favor hugin :) Btw: I don't think we get into trouble by
using the name of a raven from the norse mythology.
I have added Juha and Kai-Uwe to the hugin project on sf.net.
I'll put some more wxwindows stuff into the repository soon.
