It does, but you need the whole of XFree86 to get it going. There's
also a small problem that PTStitcher is binary only and doesn't run
on OSX.

I think everyone agreed that Qt is nicer. For my own use, a linux
only tool would be fine; and as a general principle, I'm in favour
of linux having all the best software, but..
Hugin/ptopengui is only possible because of Panorama Tools and the
mainly windows/mac community that has grown up around it - There is
a rare amount of knowledge and openness on the PanoTools list.
Hugin will be a better tool if these Windows and Mac users are using
it, I think it would be a mistake to disregard them.
