Great! I first tried just the second option, but this lead to the wrong
result, but with both steps it worked just great! Thank you very much! I
already were about to give up on this panorama, but then the ability to ask
someone in the community of an opensource project is my rescue :-)

Maybe this could be made into an FAQ entry, as I experienced it three times
by now on three different panoramas, and for a newbie it is very
frustrating. What do you think?
If you think it would be good into an FAQ, I could make a first version of
the Q/A, and others can correct all my mistakes (of which there will be
plenty of, as I know very few things about hugin :-)
