Summary: Really slow compilation

Initial Comment:
im compiling the latest Hugin source using the
instructions at
www.exolucere.ca/articles/compile-hugin-ubuntu

when g++ gets to Stitcher1.cpp it completely locks down
the system. it does eventually complete but it takes
quite a long time. ive tried this on 3 different boxes
with Ubuntu Breezy Badger and Dapper Drake with the
same results.

my apologies if im jumping the gun by filing this bug
on unreleased source, but i thought you should be aware.
