[ptx] Phototour/Photosynth

Hi all,

I just found out about this Microsoft sponsored research:

http://labs.live.com/photosynth

I looks like a very clever way of using something like autopano to
navigate through a set of pictures.

Do you think that it would be hard to hack a similar file navigator
using open source software?
