Even in the new version 0.5 rc2 there is a very old bug:

If you create multiple TIFFs and the path to the output
directory contains a dot (.), then the filenames are
not set correctly: Instead of "[filename].tiff" they
are named "_PT_Stitcher_tmp_*". Refer to
