[ptx] Hugin question

Just started using Hugin. A couple of times I have optimized 
"everything" and ended up with no image in preview - as if the entire 
thing had collapsed into black hole.  And I have even managed to save 
it a couple of times inthis state and can't get it back. Is there any 
way to get the image back without starting over? Optimizing at a 
"lower" level doesn't do so.
