bittorrent has actually made a switch from wxwidgets to gtk

I guess another vote for gtk against wxwidgets.

As for myself actually hugin convinced me to wxwidgets.
gtk looks a little be too big on windows - for example in abiword or 
gnumeric - everything takes too much space.

regarding qt someone put a manual regarding compiling free win32 qt with 
dev-c++ which is basically an IDE for mingw.

just my 2 cents
