Chris,

My understanding is that you can edit the alpha channel on one or both images 
and that enblend will use the alpha channel to alter the blending line.  I 
have not tried this but if you go to the enblend web site it has information 
about this along with an example which like what you are trying to do 
involves a person moving between shoots in the overlap area.
