Hello,
thank you all for help and suggestions.
Here is my hdr of Palm Springs from the Tahaquitz canyon
http://193.151.5.183/jpg/
I made it with multiple TIFF's imported as new layers in the gimp.
I used a technique similar to Erik Krauses Blending tutorial.
Unfortunately I'm not very familar with the gimp, and there are some
flaws due to my lack of experience to edit the masks with the fuzzy
soft brush... Because of my unexperiance
http://193.151.5.183/jpg/HDR-PalmSprings-Tahaquitz-canyon-gimp.jpg
is a bit to heavy edited, HDR-PalmSprings-Tahaquitz-canyon.jpg is
somewhat better. I wasn't aware of the tools > colors section ;-) and
edited with script-fu.
HDR-PalmSprings-canyon-PTStitcher-BCC1.jpg up to
HDR-PalmSprings-canyon-PTStitcher-BCC4.jpg
is a result of hugin with with seams.
I found mkhdr and hdrview (that maybe works with wine?):

of Paul Debevec

Also have a look at this:

and this:

I'll try to manage HDR in cinepaint if I'll get it to work under ubuntu.
Thank you
