Hmm, well its a bit unfair to compare the sizes this way, because nona is
completely statically linked (including newer,bigger libtiff libjpeg and
libpng) and the template code expands all image processing code multiple
times etc.

I wasn't aware of that. I thought that at least the seam creation and the
color matching was inside PTStitcher.

Of couse then it makes sense to code the remaining two percent.

They use just the non image processing parts. (coordinate transforms and
the optimizer)
