Summary: Use new enblend 2.4 -f option
Initial Comment:
Enblend 2.4 now supports cropped TIFF images. You just
need to use the new "-f XXXxYYY" option to specify the
final image size.
So the Stitcher page needs to be updated to leave the
enblend option active when the output type TIFF_m and
cropped images are selected.

On the enblend page of the preferences it is possible to
select if cropped tiff files should be used or not.
Maybe this is not the most logical place to put this choice,
but the idea was that it is a "preference" and not a per
project setting.
I have to think a bit more about the placement of the options...
ciao

I just tried it in hugin 0.5:
- "Save cropped images" is ghosted *UNLESS* TIFF_m is selected
- "Soft Blending" is ghosted *UNLESS* TIFF is selected
So currently you can't use the extremely memory efficient
combination of multiple cropped TIFFs generated by nona and
using the -f option in enblend.
Only enblend 2.4 supports cropped TIFF_m with the -f option.

I don't understand.
hugin add -f automatically if cropped tiff output is used.
Remember that TIFF_m output does not call enblend.
Enblend is used wheb TIFF is selected together with the
"smooth blending option"
