the build has probably changed a little and I had to add
-lpng -ljpeg -ltiff to LDFLAGS
in src/foreign/vigra_impex/Makefile.
./configure still needs --with-boost=/mingw otherwise it detects it in 
/usr (it's not there for sure)
There's also still problem with Polish characters, although this time I 
built it against libintl with libiconv (latest from gnuwin32.sf.net).
