[ptx] Trying hugin again after an absence...

Just built and ran CVS hugin for the first time in a while, thanks to a
combination of rebuilding my computer and previously missing
dependencies.  Some initial observations:

 * hugin spun at 100% CPU after completing a stitch job, and
   closing the main window did not quit the CPU hogging nor exit().

 * the preview window did not re-layout on resizing, so I was stuck
   with a huge preview when I wanted a small one.

 * a few rough nits in the new interface, where things don't line
   up properly.  I can tackle those if I get a few minutes soon.
