Hi,
I must start by saying that hugin is again running faster (it was slower in
the beginning of july (for me) than on the beginning of july.. and that's is
so great!
but I 'd like to report few problems, maybe (small) bugs ? (that does not
prevent to make wonderfull panoramas)
1)
I'm having a recurrent problem when selecting control points by hand for CVS
version from the beginning of july till the last version I have (yesterday)
so I think I can speak about that.
When I'm choosing a reference control points (with auto fine tune and auto
estimate ticked off), it zoom to 100% (which is OK) but very often moves to
the zone of the preceding pair of points which is not expected.
It's a bit confusing because it does not occurs always... and it seems to
happens more frequently when there are more photos to stich or maybe if
photos ordered from right to left rather than left to right (?)
2)
When the reference point is selected, then it auto select the one on the other
image, it can be okay or not, if not I adjust it be hand and fine tune.
Finally I press 'a' and I come back to zoom "fit to window" (which okay) but
then there is 5 seconds of 100% CPU during I cannot do anything and I don't
know what is the program doing at that time?
I had a version of january 2004 which wouldn't have this "problem"
3)
Resizing the preview window is very slow and CPU costy (something like 5
seconds of 100% CPU on an AMD 2400 or pentium 4 1.6 Ghz (not shure of the
last one)). I had a version of january 2004 which was (much) faster to resize
preview window.
4)
Optimization run much faster than ever before but I click on Apply, there is
also that 5 seconds of 100% CPU during I cannot do anything and I don't know
what is the program doing...
I don't know if it is specific to me or someone else have similar problems?
ps : I regurlarly build rpm of hugin for MDK 10 (based on Douglas Wilkins job)
and packages are located here :
