Summary: images not refreshed when changed zoom

Initial Comment:
after opening project with pictures and going to
control points tab, zoom is set to "fit the window".
After changing it to 100% it sometimes fails to refresh
the window. The scrollbars adjust but the image stays
the same. Funny thing is that I get most of the time in
resolution 800x600, almost never in 1024x768
