Me? What makes you think that I would work on this plug-in? All I did
was applying a patch and when it comes to the TIFF plug-in all I will
do in the future is to apply other patches.

Please add your comments to Bugzilla so it reaches a wider audience.
Perhaps someone else is interested to improve this code.
