I haven't looked into the crash yet, I'm currently trying to understand
the pano tools sourcecode, so that I can add internal remapping
routines for the preview without haveing to rewrite everything from
scratch

Btw. Kai-Uwe, I hope I haven't "vergrault" you with my source cleanup.
If you want adjust the center panel to the new Model, please go ahead.
