note the middle mouse button, scroll and the shift key to scroll both
pictures.
I use a different technique:
- zoom to full view
- select first point -> 100% zoom
- select first point again (with more detail)
- select second point:
- auto estimate might find a match automatically
- select manually if auto estimate is switched off,
or it is the first point.
- optionally correct second point.
(optionally fine tune, 'f' key, can be used to adjust the point
if it was moved by hand. useful for windows and other repetitive
structures, because the search region is just a few pixels. )
- RMB to add (I guess we have to mention it, because
most users will probably not try pressing it.)
hugin then zooms out to the full view again.
maybe thats a bit too much information, for a short introductionary page,
but I really like that way of choosing points :)
