sf bug tracker notification

Hi,
does anybody know how to set up an email notification on sf for the
developers, if an bug is submitted or an feature is requested?

Is it ok to send such notification from hugin as well to the ptx list?

What does the statistics mean on:
<http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/index.php?report=months&group_id=77506>
Page Views  ... is clear to me
CVS .... ?  anonymous / developers / no difference ?

Please let me know if my tooltips in hugin are useless or missleading.
Suggestions are welcome ;-)
