I know I should have suggested this before but I was buried under a mountain of paperwork yesterday, but I wondered if we could join UK uncut tomorrow outside McDonalds, either for the GA or for an hour before it. What do people think?
Would be a good intro to DAnessx

Hi all,

While Occupy Sheffield is camp-free, and with the Citadel of Hope empty and closed for the next few weeks - hopefully available for community use soon - General Assemblies continue to roam around the city.
Upcoming meetings and events:

Open 10am-5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, on for the next few weeks. Come and participate.
Tuesday 28th February - Invite: Young Greens meeting - 7pm, Octagon. Occupy Sheffield will be representing and listening.
Wednesday 29th February General Assembly at 6:30pm, at the Showroom (15 Paternoster Row, S1 2BX).

Manchester Metropolitan University, Student Union Building, 99 Oxford Road, Manchester M1
What would an economy that really worked in the interests of people look like? Come to a full day event of informative and inspiring workshops and speakers, all addressing that question.
Sunday 1st April 2012 - Invite: Sharrow Lantern Carnival 2012
Saturdays, 12-4pm. Carnival on Sunday 1st April 2012
Originally pencilled in for occupy camp workshops, lantern making sessions are already being held every Saturday (since 4th February) to the 31st March, 12-4pm at Highfield Trinity Church, London Road, and The Old Junior School, South View Road, Sheffield. Occupy Sheffield are planning to get involved in March, ready for the carnival on Sunday 1st April.
Saturday 9th June 2012 - Outreach: Peace in the Park 2012 - Midday - 8pm, at Ponderosa
Excellent General Assembly location, anyone?
