Thanks to Mike for suggesting we might want to leave our polite but firm opinions of Foster's interviewing style on his FB page... http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=673416254

Hi David, Just a quick response before I listen to the broadcast, are you aware that Toby Foster has a Facebook page where people could possibly leave their remarks for everyone to see?
Mike

Hello
Just a small correction; the name to contact should read as Mike Woodcock.
I think what also warrants complaint is Foster's inability to let Nigel or Sam finish their responses to the few actual questions he did put to them, and his blatant statements of his own opinion unsupported by evidence. For instance, saying that a small number of people at an Occupation in a city of half a million means we do not represent the views of the city; one could have countered that the Cathedral was barely half full on Remembrance Sunday so that shows that most people in Sheffield could not give a hoot about those who have died in conflict and war. Foster also tried to make out that there had been little fighting on Church St prior to the arrival of Occupy yet anyone who's lived in Sheffield for any period of time will know that is not true.
There may also be
a conflict of interest with Foster and the Cathedral here:

Foster also said that apart from his interview, our Occupation had received no media publicity in the week; yet Occupy Sheffield appeared on BBC Look North earlier in the week (following on from a feature on Occupy Leeds). Sheffield Live radio have been featuring us. We are making constant and ever improving use of social media. Our joint direct action with UKUncut on 17th December was seen by hundreds of people and received a lot of online coverage locally. And the most important publicity is coming from actually meeting and talking to so
many diverse people in person at camp. Everyone apart from Peter Bradley that is.

Hi all.
Just wanted to suggest that occupiers may want to consider a complaint
about something I heard Toby Foster say in this mornings broadcast. Please
listen for yourselves to see if I'm right but I think I heard him say that we
were disrupting the "Good Christians of Sheffield in their worship". To me
this suggests that those of our members who are active Christians, (Deacon Dave,
Maureen, Mary, etc) are not good Christians.
I didn't get chance to pick him up on this at the time but if you feel it
merits a complaint, here are the means to do it;
Phone Luke Woodcock on 0114 267 5440
We shouldn't let him get away with this after such an uneven discussion,
though I hope Sam and I held our end up.
Thanks
Nigel.
